About Us | Louisville Custom Built-Ins

Built around your home and your vision

Louisville Custom Built-Ins designs, handcrafts and installs custom cabinetry for homeowners, builders and businesses across the Louisville area. Founded in 2016, our team brings 10+ years of experience and 1,310+ completed custom projects to the work we do today.

Our work includes bookcases, home libraries, fireplace built-ins, media walls, home offices, wardrobes, pantries, mudrooms, window seats, Murphy bed cabinetry and custom furniture. We handle design, fabrication and installation in-house, with cabinetry made in our central Kentucky workshop.

Why we handcraft every custom project

Your room has its own proportions, its own details and its own place in your everyday life. We handcraft each project so the cabinetry can work with that space, from the belongings you want to store to the trim and furnishings you want to keep.

We love working with clients to help bring a vision to life. That starts with listening, looking at your inspiration and helping you compare practical layouts, materials and finishes. We respect your space throughout the process: we plan around access, protect the surrounding work area and pay attention to how the finished piece will fit your home.

One team, from the first idea to the final fit

We measure the room, prepare the design and walk you through your choices before building. Once the plans and itemized quote are finalized, a 25% deposit places your project on our schedule. Most projects take about 3–10+ weeks, depending on scope and selected details.

Our team builds and finishes the cabinetry in the shop, then fits it to your room on site. We check the doors, drawers, shelves and finish with you at the end. Clear communication and care for your home matter just as much as the piece we leave behind.
